Deconstructing Terrorism: Master thesis at Design Academy Eindhoven. The thesis explains terrorism as communication strategy. Through careful narration terrorist groups and the countering governments each create subjective versions of reality and communicate it largely over the mainstream media.
(De)constructing Terrorism: Master project at Design Academy Eindhoven. Through the construction of a left extremist terrorist brand which reflects topical trends in terrorism, the funtioning of such branding is being explained in an accessible way. A plug-in layer on a website makes the original research accessible through direct links. The booklet provided a thematically structured presentation of the content.

Research and Concept for Erlangen Theater's seasonal programme, for/with Neue Gestaltung.
Objective Europe: Research Projekt at Design Academy Eindhoven, with Jessica Whatmore. The mass migration into Europe in 2015 was perhaps the first time that travelling refugees have widespread ownership of smartphones and frequent internet access. On openly accessible Facebook and Instagram pages we documented useful, if not life-saving information exchanged about the journey as well as selfies and snapshots of the trip. Both categories have push and pull affects on people considering to do the journey themselves.
